Well, existing PC has died, what better excuse needed for an upgrade eh? :)

So I'll be ordering to the following spec

Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 12800C9 1600MHz Triple Channel
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (WD1002FAEX)

I already have the following

GTX8800 GFX Card
2x WD Raptors

Fitted into a Butterfly V2 Case

This time round I'd like to watercool this setup, what would you recommend?

I'm allowing a budget of £350 for cooling if need be

Thanks!
Rob

What bits do you want to cool?

CPU
CPU + GFX
CPU + GFX + Mobo (not reccomended)

Whats your objective, temperature or silence or both? :)

I'm worried about the case more than anything, budget is good and sticking to cpu and gfx is good. But I can find almost zero info about the case other than its probalby not designed to take any watercooling unless you are willing to modify it (i.e. cut the case)

I think it looks like the PSU is at the top and that there may be some decent room at the bottom if you are happy with cutting radiator grill holes in the door then you should be ok.

If you have any pics of the inside that would help

Not a great photo sorry, if it's not suitable then I'm ok with getting a new case :)

The door does have a couple of 80mm grills already (not shown here but top left and middle left)

Get a better case and spend less on the cooling. A good case will last for years and many builds. If you can still get one the Coolermaster 590 is cheap and great for water-cooling.
