right i need a printer has to be cheap as possible NOT LEXMARK, my brother currently has a lexmark and im sick of seeing him spending outrageous prices on cartridges i need a cheap printer and the catridges must be nice and cheap :) , thanks
 
Can't really go wrong with Canon for ink cartridge prices. Never actually owned a canon printer but my mate had an old standard one. Nice little printer and the inks were dirt cheap.

I have a HP printer atm, cartridges are around £13-15 each and they're the cheapo ones :\
 
The ink for the current range of Canon printers is very expensive. You will have great difficulty finding compatable cartridges for them.
