Recomment a slidecam

Looking to buy one after the the new year. Any recommendations?

Looking to go on my tripod, and its for a 5DMKII.

I don't want to spend huge money but if you know you recommend then fire away!

Here's the thing.

Cheap sliders are ultimately that, cheap. If you're going to invest, then invest properly on a Glidetrack HD, starting at around £290.

I bought a Varavon slider about 2 years ago, having been sold on the rail+bearings rather than the friction slide. However after 1 shoot the head became loose and no amount of tinkering has made it how it should be. Also it simply isnt sturdy enough to support the weight of a 5DmkII with L glass.

So yeah. The Glidetrack HD or a Kessler is really the lowest i would go if i was reinvesting.
