Reconnect sw RAID array

The system drive of my linux box died a horrible clicky death, so need to build a new system drive not a problem.

However I have two software based RAID5 arrays now I know there is a command I can do to reconnect them but for the life of me I can not remember what it is.

Can anyone help?

thanks for the link but had to run "mdadm --assemble --scan" before could do the "mdadm --detail --scan >> /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf"
