My band was offered a record deal this will be very brief as i havent heard the full details as of yet.
as i know so far, we sent a Demo to a company based down near london they contacted us back and were willing to sign us up.
we declined we was basically told that we would be signed up, and then we would be sold to another record dealer whats that about?
basically as i understand the first compnay to sign us up would have rights over the royalties?
its all a bit mix and match :/ im not sure of the ins and outs yet.
