About 5 or so years ago we had Sky Q and one of the features I used all the time was recording cricket and then watch in the morning the following day but I don't think you can do that with Sky Stream. Is that true and if it is what is the modern alternative? I can't watch cricket at the broadcast time so need to be able to save it for later.

Set it as a favourite show (the coloured dots button) and then its added to your playlists and most things are available to stream for a period afterwards. For example today the Liverpool City match was same time as the F1, so the match was watched live and now the F1 Im watching on Catchup from my playlist.

Thank you! I'll look into getting Stream in that case as it was the only thing keeping me back from signing up.
Have a play with one in one of the Sky stores. But yes, mostly things are on catch up for a while afterward, so it solves for precisely the problem you outline - like pepp77 said!
