I have just recorded some tele using my DVD recorder onto a disc and now have got problems.
I want to copy the disc onto another disc but it keeps telling me it not valid. I opened the original disc on the pc and it has a rm-ts folder and a video ts folder. I thought a dvd needed a Audio ts folder?????
So I am assumng you haver to convert the recordable dvd disk before you can burn it onto another disc.
I just want to watch my tele progs on another dvd plaer thats all
Any ideas on what I have got to do?

Many thanks

Dvd videos don't have anything in the audio folder. What program are you using? Nero should work fine using dvd copy. What dvd format is it?

there is no audio folder and it is whtever the dvd recorder records the progs in ....but I have a video ts folder and it is vob files....nero wont burn em telling me it is a packer problem or something.

If you do not finalise your disks ,most wont play in another DVD player . After you record , goto the settings and Finalise . This is the information I get with my Panasonic ES10 & ES20 DVD recorders . What I do find , is that PC DVD drives will recognise the data . Just copy the Audio/Video folders to the hard drive [in a folder] and use something like DVDSanta to write to a blank disk .This is what I do to make copys. Very quick too .
