Hello,

I have been asked to make a few tutorial and advertising videos for a friends EVE corp.

What would be the best software to use to record with?

What would be the best way of then adding either voice instructions and subtitles etc to it?

i would use fraps and untick the audio option, making it easier to add your own audio to it.

cool, what about editing the actual video once its recorded?

I'd agree with Fraps too, best programme for it imo.

Not for the faint hearted, but VirtualDub is a brilliant free piece of software which could remove chunks and save out as XviD.

Windows Movie Maker. It is included free with Windows. Does the job quite well and is silly easy to use even for the complete beginner
