recording from a webcam

Does anyone know of any good (and possibly free) software that will record from a USB webcam.

Dosent need any fancy features, just something simple that records the video and sound from the webcam.

If it is a Logitech camera then their QuickCam software will do it.

If you can't get any software to save it directly from the camera then you could use something like CamStudio to record it from the desktop instead. really need to know a bit more about the camera first though.

its a ps2 eyetoy (the version that uses the logitech drivers) would quickcam work

You can try Debut if that doesn't suit, have a look in the Webcam/Capture Software section were you will find other utilities...
