Hi guys

I've been messing around today with some test videos, recorded with DXTory, Rendered with latest SonyVegas at 60fps and upped to YouTube. We can now watch the vids back at 60fps as most of you have heard, but so far the vids I have uploaded havent had the option to view at 60fps. It should say 720p60fps or 1080p60fps in the drop down on the video, but so far mine have only had the 720p, 1080p etc

Any ideas please? this is the vid I just took, short test, but 1080p at 60fps is not showing.

Its showing options for 720p60 and 1080p60 and they appear to be running at 60fps too so all good here. If you just uploaded it it can take time for youtube processing to show all available options.

60fps is only available on Chrome at the moment, so I bet you a freddo you're not using Chrome :p

That's lame, but I've tried it in Chrome and it's so much better watching these game videos in 60fps.

But Chrome < Firefox :S

Come on Firefox! I heard v34 of Firefox supports it though?

I can't see too much 60fps stuff getting uploaded from the major channels, the file sizes and upload times will be huge and they need to be upping videos daily. There'll probably just be a few extra or special videos.

Depending on codec, settings (i.e. bitrate) used and how quickly stuff changes 60fps isn't always that much/any bigger than 30fps. (Obviously increasing bitrate to preserve quality has an impact).
