Right now I use sterio mix to record. By letting my mic be heard and sterio mix records what ever you hear so I technically hear myself but my problem is that I sound very quiet. No matter what level I put my headphones at. If I boost my mic I get this buzzing sound in my ears which is annoying. So does anyone have any other methods of doing this.

I either let fraps deal with the game sound and use audition or audacity in the background for the mic, or record the playthrough and game sound then add a post produced commentary either. Stereo Mix just puts me off my stroke as it were... I can't concentrate with my own voice in my ear all the time.
