Recording my Wii

Does anyone have any idea how i would go about recording the output of my wii audio and video whilst playing it at the same time. is there any software i could use on my mac/mac with xp on it...is it possible to connect it into a DV cam??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suppose you could capture your Wii with a video camera... if you're into that kind of thing...

All you would need is some kind of capture card in your PC. Possibly a splitter for the cables if you wanted to actually play on a TV and capture on the PC at the same time.

yeah don't have PC at work i can add cards to. Suppose i could just split the signal 1 into tv one into DV cam...

Cables from somewhere on the high street??

DVD recorder/VHS recorder is by far the easiest way.

yeah don't have dvd recorder though - and it'll be a pain to edit right? and vhs just won't be good enough

Really easy to edit, just import the video from the DVD-R into your favourite movie editor.

Some people use the DVD-R method in the street fighter tournament videos.
