Does anyone know any good programs which will work with something like dosbox or scummvm (preferrably scummvm)? I'm trying desperately to record some footage and I may as well put my wotsits in a blender for all the use it is.

Fraps won't touch it, camtasia is a bag of the proverbial brown stuff and won't even record my desktop and hypercam avi files won't run in premiere at all, so I'm all out of ideas.

I know dosbox will do video itself but the problem is that dosbox doesn't run the game well at all so I'm not able to use that option either.

To be honest dosbox didn't run it well at all, the game was choppy and full of video and audio stutters. I spent about 4 hours messing around with CPU cycles, rendering surfaces and all that stuff yesterday and finally ended up just sticking with scummvm purely because it ran the stupid thing correctly.

In all honesty I've had enough now anyhow lol 4 days messing around in total and £10 down the pan is better than more faffing about with config settings.
