Recording sounds

I would like to record a small bit of music of a youtube video. How can i do this? All i can think of doing is using the windows recorder to record the music via the built in microphone, sound awaful though! Want it as an mpeg to put on my phone.

Try Zamzar mate.

*edit: Once you have the recording you can then use Audacity to edit it and grab the part you want to use. Seems like a lot of effort but it's not really and will produce much better results than using a Mic
