Recording Vinals onto CD using computer?

Hi, i have an X-FI Fatal1ty soundcard, i was wondering, downstairs my parents have this old Hi-Fi that plays Vinals, it did have speakers untill my dad cut the wires :\, anyway, how can i record them onto the pc using that front panel on the X-Fi?, the only output on this old Hi-Fi is headphone, so do i connect that to the computer or somthing?

dont have an amp , will have to wait then untill i get a ndecent soundsystem

were can i get one of those 6.5mm jack plugs, i been needing one for ages.
