Recovering a deleted GMail account, namely it's contacts?

As the title, whats the best way to recover a deleted GMail account to get its contacts back?

I Realised once I'd deleted the GMail account my android phone now has a now nameless collection of phone numbers.

Done earlier today in error, any help appreciated!

Once you delete an account from anywhere online it's usually gone.

Customer services won't bring it back, any service.

A lot of places usually give you at least 30 days to recover it though before it's perma deleted.
