Recovering corrupted file on USB?

used photorec last night on a split SD card -
ran it multiple times since the program became unresponsive after a while, found it did recover more files after putting device in fridge first

Now need to find a program to rename the files which have names like f0698688.jpg
..would like to rename them numerically, ordered by modified time
