Recovering MS Word 2010 Document

Hi,
I'd been working on a MS Word document for 2 hours when Word crashed. When I restarted Word, all of my changes were GONE.
Can anyone tell me how to recover my temporary document? I tried to look at my Windows/Temp folder but I'm on my work computer.

Search your C:\ for *.asd - if you're lucky you will see the document you've lost.

These will be the recovered documents. However, Word is a bit funny about opening them from anywhere except the 'Word' folder so if they're stored elsewhere move them to:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word

Then you should be able to go to File - Open - Recover Unsaved Documents and find the relevant .asd file for your document.

Also, get in the habit of CTRL+S every few minutes so you don't lose all your work!
