Hi
I have an old xbox live account that I haven't signed in to for many years. Upon trying to sign in it asks me for an associated 'microsoft account email address'. Now the thing is I'm pretty sure I havent got any form of microsoft account associated with this tag, if anything I think the registered email address is probably an old university email and I could have a good guess at the password. Trouble is it keeps asking me for an associated microsoft email which I positive I have never had as it was last used well before microsoft unified all their various accounts etc.
Any ideas on what I could try to do to recover the account?
