No search engine to help me - so here i go again.

Got a USB pen drive, some clown has deleted some files of it and now i need them files back.

Anyone used a good cheap recovery software program they would recomend using, anything upto about £50 would be nice, just to get some pictures back.

TYIA for looking.

Colin

PS - anyone know how to get to the recylce bin if its been told not to be shown to the user as they may be in that?

Not shown how? Icon hidden? Is it as simple as restoring it on Customize Desktop? And do they have access to Disk Cleanup? You can View the files through that system.

if they've just been deleted and not overwritten then recuva will definitely be able to get them back, plus it's freeware :)

just recover them to your pc and not directly to the usb drive, then copy them back after testing the files (open them)
