Hi all, I'm not a mac person, my friend is though, and she deleted stuff she didn't want to. Anyone know of a program to help? Preferably free to use.

Cant help you with the specific problem, but this is a prime of example of using Time Machine, sort her out an external hard drive and set it going and forget about it, until the time comes around and accidental deleted files can be restored in a jiffy.

A case of closing the stable door after the horse had bolted, but worth thinking about int he future.

Im sure someone will come along and help you out more than I can.
