at home, you?
tried to recycle some data in the bin, but i was also doing a backup of my c:, which before deleting data from another drive was 30 odd gb, when i recycled my data it went up to 120gb, so it should have went back down to the 30gb size when i selected empty recycle bin, but my drive is still saying its 120 odd gb full, i have checked the actual size of my windows install and its 27gb, so somehow i have an extra amount of drive space being used up by nothing, windows 7 just threw a hissy fit i think :p, anyone have any ideas?

sorry i think you have misunderstood completely, i deleted data from one drive into the recycle bin, which made the size of my c: go up in used space, tried to empty recycle bin, and it emptied but my used drive disk space is still the same after emptying the recycle bin

tried that, ran ccleaner, no joy, heres what im faced with

all contents of c: only come to 27gb, yet in my computer it shows up as 154gb used
