I have a shredder that eats up most of my commercially sensitive papers. Since it is all paper (except for the staples in there) do I stick it in my recycle bin? If so, do I have to separate it out somehow, else I will have a pile of confetti in there mixed with cans, bottles and newspapers?

What do you do if you shred?

Thanks,

Jon

Does your council recycle paper? I believe our council does Cardboard but not paper, you usually get a bag for it so, like you say, doesn’t get mixed with the cans.

Edit - So you have newspaper in the same box? Do they take what they need when they empty it? If so then it will be pointless as it will be too mesy.

In Brighton, we have a recyling box. You can put in it various stuff like paper, bottles, drink and cartons. But if I put in my confetit it might be harder for them to seperate everything out.

Sounds like a rubbish system. :p

We have a wheely bin for normal waste, one for garden waste. Alongside that we have a bag for cans, bottles, plastics and a separate bag for paper and cardboard. All of which are collected weekly.
