Red Alert 2 On Windows 10

Hi everyone does anyone know how to get red alert 2 working on windows 10 ?

I felt like playing the game as not played in years and have the original disks I put them in and auto play comes on then I click install and then nothing ?

been looking online and tried running as administrator and tried Turing resolution down etc with no luck any ideas ?

Note it appears to include downloading some fan-made stuff (the multiplayer-only version) which I have not looked into and can't vouch for, then you copy the SP stuff from your original discs.

I take it that origin doesnt let you input an old cdkeys to get a digital version of the game?

I did get it working a while back. there was a special launcher or patch for it. Not much help right now as I don't know what the links were but I can say that it does work

any idea how you did it mate ? looked on loads of forums that say try this try that but everyone always reply's with same answer NO

just really want to play it and never thought wouldn't be able to when payed for the game even if it was years ago

Honestly can't remember. Might have been something like copying the files off the CD locally to the PC and then running from there in compatibility or something. I'm sure theres a patch needed for online play though, it replaces their online system with a third party launcher
