Think I would have gone with longer exposures and lower ISOs but if plane pics are new to you then I guess it's all a learning experience :)

I quite like the second shot of the Typhoon and your B&W shot reminds me of one of mine but in reverse hehe:

Something strange was happening with the camera. ISO was on Auto. Didn't notice until the Arrows had nearly finished that it was so high, so I overrode the Auto down to 100 and then it seemed to work ok after that, flicking between 100 upto 1000

I was a little confused on why the camera would up the ISO so much and then counter it with fast shutter.

It was a funny old day equipment wise a mates D7100 locked up and needed to have the battery removed.
