red arrows just shot past

I think it was last year when I saw them fly over me when I went to Gloucester city for the day :)

Kind of brightened up the gloomy dive! :L

I was unloading a wagon at work a few months ago when they flew past in the diomand with the red white and blue smoke, the thing though, you could barely hear them over the wagon until they were nearly on the top of us, i jumped 2 foot back, but managed to get a good veiw of them, they are truely awesome.

They've flown over me unexpectedly so many times in the last 2-3 years that I'm now at the point where can I tell from the noise that it's them approaching before I see them.

were I live i m normally buzzed by euro fighters..( as there is a euro fighter sqn near by)

I wish they'd found time to fly past Windermere on the air-show weekend. We normally get a full display, it's a thank-you for letting them use our hilly terrain for low flying practice. Yet this year the only RAF involvement was the Falcons dropping in on Sunday.

How long would it take them to travel from Lands end to John o groats?

Well the distance from lands end to John O Groats is 874 miles and the Hawk training jet that the Red Arrows use has a top speed of 622mph so if they were travelling flat out they could do it in just over an hour and a half.
