Red artifacts/weird colours

(Probably a GPU issue but posted in GH as i'm not sure)

Recently my screen has started displaying red in place of certain shades of grey and a few other darker colours... I've looked at the GPU temps but all seems fine.. At first I thought it might have started with the latest driver update but i have re-installed an older version and, though the problem went for a day or two, it came back even worse. The blue of the OCUK forums is a favorite for the redness now... The GPU's never been clocked and is sitting at about 28* pretty much all of the time (i've not had much time for playing games recently)... card is the MSI 560Ti if it helps...

have you tried it on a different montor it could just be the monitor not being able to display what your graphics card is telling it to?

i just did and the other monitors fine... i think it may be the hdi cabl, i know its geting a bit frayed at the connectors as i havn't taken the best care f it

at least its a cheap replacement

yeah if you can try a different cable and see if it makes a difference on the montior thats displaying red bits and see if that works if it doesnt then its the monitor that is the problem

the monitors a tv and works fine on all other channels so i guess its a new cable then, could have been a lot more costly

ah ok yeah if it works on tv channels then yeah you only need a new cable
