Red, Brown or Black...

I am in the market for a Mechanical keyboard and would be interrested to get peoples opinions on which type of switch would be better for me?

Ive currently got a Logitech MX5000 dome keyboard which has fairly stiff keys and i can rest my fingers on a key without it pressing (handy for MMOs) and quite like that feel.

I dont want one that is particularly noisy or clicky which is why I have ruled Blues out. I'm a fairly heavy typer too.

It will be a general use keyboard as well as being used for gaming.

I took a visit to a local retailer and had a try of a few keyboards and out of the ones I tried (Corsair K70, Steelseries 6Gv2, Logitech G710+ and Razer Blackwidow ultimate), I much prefered the response of the G710+. I guess that means Brown is the way to go!

Now to decide which keyboard to go for (Logitech, Gigabyte or Ducky)...

Im down to a shortlist of that one, the G710+ and the Ducky Shine 3.

Has anyone tried the SHine Zero in comparrison to the Shine 3?

After a couple of weeks using the G710+ I couldn't be happier. The feel of the keys is both responsive and comfortable without being too noisy. It is good for gaming and lovely to type on too.
