Red cross error when watching clips online

I have been watching clips online for ages. The other day it just stopped working. I get a red cross in the top left hand corner of the clip screen?

This is driving me nuts coz I miss all the ctahc up stuff on the BBC and E4

Any ideas how to fix this?

Same as with Photo's on WWW, normally Active X issue.

try clearing your temporary internet files. assuming your using IE, goto tools> internet options>browsing history and click delete.

also the bbc/e4 uses flash i think so make sure you have the latest version of that installed.

Its been that long since I had that issue (Photos only and back on XP early days) and I don't think its related to Flash or Shockwave unless the players you are using run with these.

Unless its not the BBC IPlayer your on and it does indeed use Flash or Shockwave

Sorry I cant be more help.

Just get both Flash and Shockwave directly from www.adobe.com.

If you have issues there is tools in the Support section to remove both so you can cleanly install them again

Re installed flash player and also DIVX application and web player.

Still no joy?
