Red Dead for only £25!!!

The problem is, it's a referal link that YOU benefit from people clicking. This (from my knowledge here) is frowned upon on these forums.

So is posting competitors and the Red Redemption thread has ****ing about 100 references to competitors and no one gave a ****. Yourself included :p

The fact that thread has stayed open is proof enough no one gives a **** about this section anymore.

Is that site dodge? Asks a million personal questions and tells me I am signing up to a credit agreement when I try to create an account. I pulled out and came back here to check. Don't really have the time to read all the small print right now as in a rush. Will it bill me monthly? Does it setup some account I will have to keep for a year and pay it off monthly or something? I just want to purchase it, get billed via direct debit and never be bothered again. Is this possible?
Ta for the offer though.

No the site is not dodgy they are part of a huge company. And yes you can pay with debit card without any other stipulations.

The site isn't dodgy but using their (littlewoods group) online discounts is always a gamble - they don't always honour the discount and so you end up paying full price.
Google it, you'll find lots of other people on different forums moaning that they got stung for the full price when it came out of their bank account / credit card.
I personally wouldn't touch this with a barge pole and urge others to work out if they can afford (and are willing to pay) the full price before ordering because it's 50/50 that they'll be paying that.

Cheers. Ok so I went ahead with it! Thanks to the OP. Lets wait and see if it works...

I won't be paying for anything over £25. If they do not honour it at the price advertised, send it back surely?

Well it's not exactly an advertised price, only if the discount voucher is deemed valid when it finally goes through and is paid from your card.
I'd check their media returns policy as well just to be safe.
Sounds like a lot of hassle if it doesn't work out.
I hope the people who have ordered it do get it at that price though :)

You might wanna re-check that. Not all other companies are competitors (Shopto for example), only those that's main business is in direct competition with OcUK's.

Well I have order confirmation that I bought an item at £25. So I expect to pay £25. I know how to use a post office too in the unlikely event that I need to return it.

They are a competitor, from the compet thread at the top they are one of the ones Burnsy editted out of my post.

Some of the ones I RTM'd have been removed most haven't.

Just got do a search of that website you mentioned in the red redemption thread and see how many times it has been mentioned as well as the highstreet game selling stores that where deemed compets.

The modding in this section has got sloppy tbh and the last time that happened with loads of competitor mentions this section got shut.

Some RTMs I sent a while back took literally days to be actioned.

No need to be snippy mate, I'm just offering a cautionary warning. Whether people take it or not is totally up to them, it doesn't affect me either way, but there's no harm in warning people about this site and it's discount codes - it's all over the internet that they don't always honour the discounts.
Not really sure why you're getting all defensive with me about it.

I used a code to get 2100 live points for about £7 from littlewoods and they never honored it, when I checked my statement I had been charged the full amount.

Bit of a con if you ask me since the order clearly stated £7

This. My only experience with them has been gettig charged the full amount and never refunded anything.

Thanks, thing is I googled and couldn't find many complaints about codes from people to be fair. Oh well. Whatever.
