Red Dead Redemption 2 VR

Not sure if you've used VR before but it's not like that in the headset. The only thing that would be bad is the (probably) low framerate and/or possibly janky slide moving

paid mod at moment, booooo :(

If you have GTA 5 try the same guys VR mod for that as that's free, and see how it runs and if you like it.

I've just tried the GTA 5 one today for the first time and it's the first time VR has ever made me feel nauseous! As it's not 'true' VR it uses "alternate eye rendering" and if you have stereo rendering on (Which it is by default so you have true 3d depth perception) you get horrific ghosting when looking/ panning left and right. If you turn off stereo rendering it removes the ghosting and is lovely and smooth, but you lose all depth perception so it's no where near as good.

A mixed bag, and I'm still testing, but I'm glad I didn't pay for the RDR2 mod if it's the same....

That's not too bad, i had to train myself and get into the swing of it over a period of a few weeks to stop the vom inducing feeling. Whenever i started to feel bad, i would stop for a few hours then try again. Eventually i don't feel it anymore and can go on for hours.

Wish this mod was free... i'm a tight git!

To be honest, having to use a typical controller while in VR is a huge turnoff. Wish the VR games market would boom already, Alyx was a great injection, but not much else has happened.
