Red Dwarf: Series 10

Im one of those people that loved season 8 but i really really really didnt like the 3 part series they done a couple of months ago.

I hope it return back to the live audience.

Will this be for dave or the BBC?

Must have canned laughter.

Actually it'd be better if they had a studio audience again like they did before.

I've watched the 'specials' again since and they're significantly better when watched one after the other and without advert breaks. The sum is far better than the individual episodes.

I hope they can pull off a new series successfully, they must have taken on the feedback from the specials, surely.

Thanks for the update but do us a favour...while you're there tell them that unless they:

Remove half the budget
Get rid of the damned CGI
Put it back in a studio with a live audience
Get both the original writers to script it

It just won't be worth bothering with, series 7, 8 and the last bit of tosh were all horrendous.

Yep, it will be &^%*. Surely back to earth should have taught them that another series wouldn't be a good idea?

Many people liked Back to Earth and many people hated it.

I thought it was good, it's just Dave missed some of the things that made the original great, cheap sets, hardly any CGI etc.

but none of that bothers me really.

Back to Earth started off a bit lazy but gradually got better towards the end.

Lighten up folks, it's not going to be horrific (it can't be) and it'll still end up being better than a lot of the stuff that gets commissioned these days.

Absolutely! It may not be amazing (very few things are) but it will certainly be worth watching and I expect most folk here, even the critical ones will watch it.
