■Memory: 1GB RAM / 15GB of Hard Drive space
■Video Card: 128MB 3D Video Card with Shader Model 3.0 Support (Nvidia GeForce 7600/ATI Radeon X1300)
Recommended:
■OS: Windows Vista for DirectX 10

■Memory: 2GB RAM / 15GB of Hard Drive space
■Video Card: 256MB 3D Video Card with Shader Model 3.0 Support (Nvidia GeForce 8800/ATI Radeon HD3850)

can someone sugguest me a GPU that will run it comfortably at a decent price. if the 8800 will be out of date by the next game release id like to go better. also id need a PSU to power the new beasty graphics :)

Your correct, GPU is well out of date
get a 5850 in a week if you can afford it, if not get one of the 48xx series. Also unless your psu is a cheapo brand yours will be plenty.

If you're on a budget now is a good time to buy,the release of the 5870 will push previous gen prices down, the ATI 4870/90 series offer good performance/price ratio as does the Nvidia GTX 260 series, either will produce a significant performance increase over your current card.

im glad you said that as i was just looking at the GTX260. what sort of price should i be looking at for one of those? and will it work in my mobo. its pretty new so im sure the new card would just replace the old one

Yeah, will work fine in your board, all it needs is a pci-express x16 slot and adequate power from your psu,you specify a 650W psu which will be fine as long as it's a decent brand!

This is a lot of card for the Money, the Powercolor 4890 is also good value but currently out of stock at ocuk,i'm sure if you shop around you'll find stock elsewhere though.

its here :D got me a new 880W AOPEN PSU as mine was old noisy and not modular, an Asus ENGTX260 and it came free with Batman arkham asylum and 3d glasses woo!

now i need to look into how to overclock graphics (never done that before) as ive heard this card is a great overclocker :D
