I thought I would treat my son to this game as he usd to play it a lot on the Xbox360 and noticed that Steam are selling it for £3.75.

Anyway I purchased the game then opened it just to check that it worked OK? Anyway it required a Windows Live account so I just closed it. Now when I try running the game it just freezes on the Home Screen. We did set up a Windows Live Account but doesn't seem to help. Tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it but just get the same problem.

Has anybody experienced this problem before or know how I can get the game to run?

It's OK sorted it out but annoyingly if you want to play Multiplayer you have to subscribe to XBox Live as we don't use XBox much now I didn't really want to pay for it but oh well.

You don't have to sub to play the GFWL version online.

I doubt anyone still plays multiplayer, it was difficult to find a game when it had just been released then when I tried again I couldn't get into a game.

Personally, i thought the destructibles for guerilla at its time were brilliant. I never got on with the story, i just knocked stuff down.
