Red Faction Guerrilla will not uninstall...

Anyone had this issue with the game? i need to reinstall it but it will not even let me do that so far i've done:

-Remove from control panel add/remove programmes.
-The above didn't work so i removed all reg keys related to it.
-Tried to uninstall with the dvd/installer which doesn't work either.

It's now gone from my control panel add/remove programmes but when i try install it just says modify/repair/remove as options so i am back to where i was as none work.

Any ideas on how to remove it properly? never have had this issue ever with a game and this is using windows 7 64 bit too.
 
That doesn't work, tried steam forums too only finding one thread about it without an answer, thanks for suggestion anyway.(i am wondering if it's related to games for windows live which always seems to cause issues for people.)
 
Did you try to repair or modify when you inserted the disc?

if not, then I would suggest doing a repair, and then trying the uninstall again.
 
It's still in the registry.
A lot of games are not only registered under their game names but also under those of the publisher and/or develooper.
Try searching and you'll find it.
