RED LED on left side of every PCI slot (P5KC)

Hi guys, I noticed a RED LED come on on the left of the PCI slot I put my Linksys Wifi card into - I tried both usable slots and the LED comes on next to whatever slot the wifi card is in however the card works fine but I have a feeling "it" could be the reason I experience clicking and popping occasionally with my xfi which is in the 2nd free PCI slot.

I just wanted to know if anyone knows what the red LED means!
