Hi guys,

Brought an XBOX from gamestation... worked fine. Had the odd crash (froze up) every so often, but other than that (they run hot though!) it worked OK.

However, tonight I pressed the power button and it showed a red light in the lower right quadrant.... and error msg E67.

Reset, and it now works.... should I Be worried? Got about 3 weeks left before I need to send off to M$ for repairs..... only had it a week so can take it back the store. (Bit crap how they only offer 1 month exchanges when a fault occurs! surely this is illegal???)

Thing is, im from stoke... brought from Stafford. So if its not an issue (now working) then I don't want to. Might give it a few days... can gamestation legally not except back after 1 month?

Actually, could I use the gamestation in stoke or are they independent?

Well don't know how GameStation work, but the console I bought on launch from Game was in Llanelli and I exchanged it in Swansea, so shouldn't have thought there'd be a problem.

But do it sooner rather than later, you're only gonna get more and more mad until it's fixed. Plus it's the weekend in 3 days, don't wanna borked 360 at the weekend do ya!

Lower right segment flashing red - Error code E67 - "Contact Xbox Customer Support" screen: You seem to have a bad hard drive. Remove the hard drive and see if the machine boots correctly without it. If it does, you'll need to replace your hard drive.

ohhh sounds ominous. Can I backup data? gonna run it into stoke gamestation tommorow.

Yeah forgot Microsoft support, go direct to the supplier. As for the backup, if you can get to the dashboard then by all means give it a whirl.

Personally, and I emphasise the personally, I'd not bother 'swapping' your harddrive, take it with you, but remove the new one from the new console and tell GameStation you don't want to lose your saves.
