Red Lighting?

Can anyone help me find red lighting for in my Stormtrooper case from what I hear red = pink is there a true red lighting available ? Thankyou

Red LEDs have been available for decades and they are usually quite red. I've had no issue with any of the red LEDs I've bought or salvaged.

Other colours such as purple, orange, yellow and white are more difficult to get right but really you should have no issue with red. Even pink is sometimes difficult to get right, unless you have RGB LEDs and pink is then easy.

i use bitfenix alchemy LED strips in my case gives out a brilliant red. Too bad actual pictures dont show this off

Do you use one or two strips as my stormtrooper case is big?

I have Akasa Vegas LED strips. The Red one is very red

I use a corsair 650D.

There is a smaller one across the bottom of the case and then there is a larger one which goes across the back and the roof and that lights the case up perfectly and they are both hidden from view

This notion comes from the days of cold cathode PC lighting. Red was very pink

Oh right not much too worry about then with pink I will measure up my case tomorrow when I get my tape measure from work see what will be the best length of led for my case thanks everyone for the insight you have been much help.

coloured leds look a bit naff imo but if youre gonna get some get one of the small bitfenix strips, theyre nuclear bright.
