Hello,

Every once in awhile I will have red lines that appear horizontally on my 46" Samsung LCD/LED TV. Only happens when computer is on.

I have a ATI 5770 my resolution is 1920x1080, I am up to date on all video drivers.

OS: win 7 pro x64
CPU: intel i7 870
RAM: 8GB

Possibly a loose connection, How is the PC / TV connected, HDMI? Possibly try switching inputs on the TV and see if it still happens.

No nothing like that they are more like this

It does not happen very often, I have read about it and the most common thing I can think of is the refresh rate or a hertz problem sometimes the resolution is to big for the hertz of the screen or somehting.

I do not understand how that can be my case my native res on my TV is 1920x1080 maybe my GFX card does not like being in 1920x1080

I get a similar issue, except the lines are blue, it mostly happens on a dark background. I can stop it by messing with the HDMI cable going into the graphics card so I think the connection is loose there.

E: I have an XFX 6850

Ya that's what I am hopping it is, and nothing serious. However I did have this PC hooked up to my sisters TV and it did the same thing non stop and once I fooled around with the hertz and res it stopped.
I just hope it is not harming my TV the damn thing was expensive a down payment on a car expensive lol.

However I do have a cheap HDMI cable , well not a cheap brand but it was bought at princess auto a discount store. The cable anywhere else would have cost like 30+ dollars instead I got it for 12.

The red lines only show up for a few secs then disappear again on their own.
