Hi all,

My girlfriend's rig was lagging behind in the gaming stakes compared to my own, so I decided that I would get us back on a even keel. To this end I have acquired through various sources the following bit and pieces for her machine.

Her original spec:
Antec 1200 (Black)
Asus Sabertooth p67
Intel i5 2500k cooled by a Corsair H80i
2 x Nvidia 680 GTX (nasty MSI and Gainward blowers)
16gb of Corsair LP DDR3 1600mhz (black)

Clearly the above is no longer able to push out the frames she deserves (whether she cares or not). Having enjoyed building my own machine and introducing watercooling to the new case, I wanted to have another go in the same case and figure out if I can improve my existing arrangement at the same time. This means I have bumped her up to the following:

Phanteks Enthoo Primo SE (Red)
MSI Gaming 5 Z97 motherboard (Red)
Intel i7 4790k (no red, but still fast)
2 x Nvidia 1080 GTX (No brand cards from an OEM for an HP Omen gaming cube - started black but...)
16gb of Kingston DDR3 1866mhz (Red)

Both machines therefore have the same specifications, in terms of cpu, chipset and gfx. I have 32gb of DDR3 but then I AM the one doing all the work...

I am removing the H80i and replacing with a custom loop. The intention is to use a 420mm EK at the top with 6 Phantek MP140 fans in a push/pull configuration, plugged into one Phanteks fan controller. Then a 280mm Alphacool Nexxxos 45 at the bottom, also with 4 fans in psuh/pull. This radiator has 6 ports and a drain point, which will be fitted with a ball valve on the end of a 90 degree fitting.

Reservoir and pump will be served by an XSPC D270 combo, which is to be mounted with industrial Velcro to allow for ease of removal and filling. Previous experience allows me to fit the reservoir and GfX cards with about 2mm of clearance.

The cpu block is a plexi/copper EK Supremacy Evo and both graphics cards will receive an EK founder's edition waterblock and special edition red anodized backplane. The cards will be linked by an EK plexi block.

Coolant is just going to be regular distilled water with some Mayhems red dye and Nuke, combined with a silver coil, and it will flow through some Mayhems Clear tubing at 16/10 diameter. All fittings except the 90 degree will be EK. The 90 is Monsoon.

Fitted the Supremacy EVO without issue, thanks to the Primo's huge cutout allowing me to fit without removing motherboard.

Radiators were fittied in the following order:
Top 3 PH-F140-MP fans into the case first, followed by the EK 480mm CE radiator. Sadly the fit was a bit snug with the motherboard in situ and I did snuff the paint a little bit on the radiator. The lower 3 PH-140-MP fans were then fitted to the underside of the radiator.

The bottom radiator was a little less troublesome, and I fitted two PH-F140-SP LED fans on the top of the radiator to add some more light to the machine. Not as bright as I would have hoped but better than nothing.

Mounting the D270 reservoir/pump was an exercise in tailoring. By that, I mean cutting the velcro to fit onto the mounting bracket of the reservoir and also onto the mounting bracket in the case. A single screw to fasten at the top ensures a permanent fitting but doesn't require excess work to make the reservoir removable.

TL,DR:
