Hi All,

Not posted in here for a very long time, so long in fact I have forgotten my previous username :o

I want to run Red Orchestra 2 and my current Spec is well out of date:-

C2D 6300
GA965-DS3 ver 3.3 Mobo
4 x GB Ram
Inno3d GT240 GFX Card
OCZ 600S PSU.

Thinking of upgrading to E6600 or E6700 CPU - but I'm a bit stumped with the GFX cards.

Been looking at the Game Requirements and it says GeForce 7800 GTX or better. What is equal to 7800 GTX better as Game debate PC checker is giving me some wierd info

Have I got any mileage / Upgrade left in this system? bearing in mind that I,m on a bit of a budget here.

if you can remember what email you used you might be able to recover your account. if youve posted more than 100 times on your old one you might be able to get free shipping.

as for your rig there are some upgrade paths available. obviously they wont give you the best you can get, but they will be reasonably good

a GTX 7800 will be the worst card that can physically play the game on its lowest settings, so you'll want something a lot better than that if you want to play at any sort of decent graphics. happily the GT 240 is a better card than the 7800GTX, scoring 770 compared to the 7800GTX's 566 in passmark.
i know passmark isnt the greatest comparison, but its a simple way to compare the older and more obscure tech.

basically, give us a budget and we can recommend an upgrade, but you will be able to play the game on its lower settings

As above, give us a budget and what resolution your monitor is and that will allow us to put together a spec for you.
Try to reactivate your old account, over 100 posts gets you fee delivery and over 250 access to the members market, which would be the best place to find bargains to upgrade your system.

Googling your motherboard it appears to support Intel quad cores, so you could get get one of them and overclock it, then maybe upgrade your graphics card. It will depend on your budget though.

P.S Red Orchestra 2 is epic, can't wait for the retail release :)
