I have a pc with ASUS A8N SLI mobo and ATI radeon X800 pcie graphics card. Red and blue pixels have developed on the screen in patches and if you move a window it doesn't refresh properly.

I have tried updating windows and the cat drivers but still no change.

I have also noticed my computer is running hot maybe, at 59 c. Is this too hot for amd athlon 64 3200?

Do you think this could cause the graphics problem?
cheers matt.

Usually a sign that the vid card is overheating or dying to be honest. Are you getting any screen corruption during boot-up, or just inside Windows?

just inside windows, during boot up all is fine until the welcome to windows startup screen, also its running 2 monitors and it occurs on both which means its not the monitor.

so yeah i am also leaning to either a overheating card or it just dieing :(
