Red Smudge on U2311H

Hi,

Just recieved my U2311H from another site, refurbed model and it has a big red smudge at the bottom of the screen, would this be stuck pixels?, i have tried the lcd conditioning and it didn't make any difference, is there any other fix for this, or is a replacement / refund the only way to go?

I have to pay for the return post so trying to save the cash if i can.

I'm pretty sure you can't fix that on your own,

Does it come with dell warranty (eg you have the original box with the Dell Works Order number on it) or is the warranty only with the seller?

Warranty is only with the seller. Tried to save some money and now thinking it will cost me in the long run...

Ah, that is a shame.

I would suggest sending it back and get a refund (should be able to get a full refund under DSR so long as you bought it in the last 7 working days), then buying the same monitor - but one from a reseller which gives you the full 3 year dell warranty. If you have any issues with that monitor a dell courier comes to your house the next working day and swaps out the faulty monitor for a working one and you don't pay anything extra.

Did it come with that stand, that's the older style stand isn't it.

Yeah it's the older stand that was supposed to be the only issue with the monitor, i paid £130 for it.
