Taken Thursday this week; I've never seen anything like it

Lovely shot! :) You don't often get a sky like that. I'd remove that bit of lens glare in the middle of the water though. Was it taken at a high ISO, or is it cropped substantially?

Bit off topic, but when did you become a non-don?

Fabulous shot!

I bet your glad you went out with your camera that evening.
Nothing worse than being in the right place at the right time for a shot and have your camera sitting at home. :)

Thanks. Yeah, funnily enough I picked the only shot to post with that in it!
No cropping, 70mm, I have some at 200mm which are closed to the bridge. ISO400 I think because it was getting fairly dark.

I was actually on a boat with my workmates and I wouldn't have had the chance to get the shot unless I was on that boat at that time - very lucky.

Thanks for the comments.

Wow, that sun looks massive for a sunset in london, i've only ever seen one like that once but then i only had my Canon 75-300mm lens and the picture looked crap :( . Great job :)

Can't think why it'd matter which lens you'd use? Surely the image would be fairly similar?

Well i meant that the sharpness of the picture was crap, so it didn't really look that good, it was quite a fuzzy picture basicaly.

Amazing, talk about right place, right time!! Great shot, even better if you could lose the lens flare in the centre - small point though, cos its a stunning view!
