having tried Primochill blood red dye and not liking it i decided to give Feser 1 UV red ago. Is it just me and do my eyes need testing because in the bottle it matches the sites color which is like a red/pink but under UV to me its totally orange.

Anyone use feser1 red?

Well i used a whole syringe of the stuff before and it dyed my loop to s*** and back so had to replace all the tubing, the blood red wasn't UV anyway. i guess i will try some Feser red uv dye instead. does that look orange to you? in the flesh its more orange than those pics.

Red is always the dodgiest of UV colours, always comes out as Pink / Orange.

bit annoying really. kinda hard to build a red and black themed rig with orange coolent. guess its either try some feser dye or go right to UV red tubing.

UV Red tubing will also glow Pink/Orange.

Best bet is just go with non-uv red coolant, or non-uv red hose.

really. that kinda sucks. im thinking maybe black tubing and red UV coils maybe. i have a tinted side window so you wouldn't see it much. maybe its easier to use some red/white cathods.

Red UV coils will be pink / orange :D

As I said, when it comes to UV Red, it doesn't work.

Personally i'd go with Black Feser / Black Hose and non-UV red coils or vica-versa.

And as you say some white cathodes.

Might be worth having a bit of an experiment with mixtures of uv coloured dyes to get a good red. I tried feserview purple dye and it glowed pinkish. I've now tried fiddling with a mixture of uv orange (from competitor, 1:2000 industrial stuff for films etc) and feserview blue which gives a lovely indigo colour.
