Redalert 2 on internet

How do you get Redalert 2 working on the internet? Ive got it working on LAN by adding IPX but I still cant register to get another account

Does anyone still play it on multiplayer (internet)?

Are the servers still running? I think there was a some 3rd party servers somewhere, you had to download a registry patch to tell ra2 where to look for them. Not sure if they are still going either, but would love to play ra again so maybe someone can help

i play this fairly regulary with my friend, though last time we played was a few weeks ago. just go on the internet button in the main menu and login etc. though dont know about creating an account as i've had mine for years now

yeh it just says its down when i try to create a new user.

Ive got the latest patch (1.006) is there another that tells it to look in the right place to register account?

i play yuris revenge online still and there are always about 50-100 players on. not sure about red alert 2 though, might have better luck over on the xwiz forums.
