Ive installed it and patched to latest version 1.006. I can play over LAN with my mate but still cannot get internet play working. When I try and create an account it says

'Sorry, the 'register' server isn't available.

It may be down for maintenence. Please try again in a few minutes.'

It just says this all the time. Is there some way I can play it online either my registering an account or using someone elses

what balls. even with the new decade edition where you get them all it wont work.

C&C 3 will be a total flop i think (due to ea being rubbish)

same here, all apart from tiberium sun and generals. (generals was total gash IMO)

is that true about no online play in C&C?

why doesnt someone just update the resolution and graphics in starcraft. that still has a massive following and you can join a game so easily. and how old is it? years before redlalert 2

I am kinda ashamed to say I have never played Starcraft considering how big it is. I am not sure about just updated Rez, a DirectX10 remake could be nice.

i think a direct x 7 update would be nice!

I had (probably) the same mind as you, that starcraft is old and crappy and it has nasty graphics and is to spacey. once you play it for a week or so, you will see how balanced the game is and how there are many different ways to win/loose

how do i change my servers to this XWIS? i can set xwis in redalert 1 but i still cant create an account with westwood to play redalert 2 online. Im sure i could when i first got the game, but i have since lost my account (and also had to buy the game again after loosing it!)

good point about the starcraft res.
