Redex - Diesel Injector Cleaner - Question about amount to use?

Hi,

I bought some redex today but didnt realise you have to measure it and use it when filling up on a full tank, I dont fill up the tank when I go to the station, I tend to stick £40 in which is a few clicks over half the tank, if I wanted to do it this way, could I re-measure the redex amount to say quarter of what I am supposed to put in?

I've stuck a whole bottle into half a tank of petrol before when it said to use half a bottle with a full tank. Never had any problems.
 
I've never noticed a difference, used it a few times in Petrol/Diesel cars.

I only ever buy it when its on offer, last time i bought some Tesco had it on for £1.20 a bottle.
 
There should be marks on the side of the bottle to indicate one use (i.e one full tank).
 
If the guidelines for how much to use are measured by full/half tank etc, then the guidelines are useless. The size of the fuel tank can vary wildly between different cars.

IIRC it says a full tank is 50l.
 
would have been better throwing a bit of 2 stroke oil into the tank instead of this crap :(
