Redex - If you use this vile product, don't keep any in the bottle, in your car

Seems to be a defect on the bottle cap even when its done up, had half a bottle in my glove box for half a day, got in the car later on at night and thought I could smell diesel or something coming through the airvents from under the bonnet, turned out to be the redex bottle leaking in my glove box.

The liquid melted all the upholstery inside the glove box down to the plastic.

Just my tip of the day

Also, its not good for your engine

I had the same happen to me in the boot of my MR2 a few years ago. I had to pull all of the carpets out just to stop my food tasting of Red-X everytime I left it in the boot.

It will probably do more good to the glove box than it does to the engine.
