Redex worth it? (Diesel)

I have got a BMW E90 320D and I have seen a few threads on the net about people using redex and I thought I would see if anyones used it.

Is it worth giving it a go?

Thanx for the reply did you notice if it made any difference to the exhaust smoke?

I thought it might be I only use BP Ultimate which seems to be rated highly.
